Documentation with the mothers of RT 017 Dawung Village

Dawung (28/7) – In today’s all-digital era, it is important for us to improve literacy skills inorder to easily filter the available information. Digital literacy a form of literacy that emphasizes the use of digital technology. In another sense Digital literacy is the knowledge and ability of individuals to use digital media, such as internet network communication tools, and so forth. To be able to survive on In the midst of this digital era, UNDIP KKN Team II students provided education about the importance of developing a digital literacy culture to prevent hoaxes about parenting children to RT 017 Dawung Village mothers.

This activity was carried out on Thursday (27/7/2023) at the UNDIP Team II Community Service Post which located in Dukuh Jomblang, Dawung Village. This activity was attended by PKK RT 017 women Dawung Village. In this activity, students convey some material about understanding digital literacy, digital literacy culture, benefits of digital literacy, and how to prevent hoaxes through digital literacy. This work program also received a positive response from the women of RT 017.

Along with the development of the times, digital literacy culture has become an important part in people’s lives, followed by an increase in community dependence to digital technology and the internet. With this activity, it is hoped that the mothers of RT 017 Dawung Village can increase their understanding of the importance of digital literacy for everyday life. Through this program, it is hoped that all people can use digital technology properly and more responsibly.
